Teddy and I had the best day yesterday at the Indie Wedding Social, hosted by Elegant Productions, Candace Berry Photography, and Chelsea Lee Flowers. It was a very intimate setting yesterday at the Keith’s Brewery Market, and although it was raining so terribly, we still had a great turn out at our booth.
Charlotte Pierce of The Flower Shop made all of the arrangements for our booth, including the gorgeous, and very lush garland that we hung on our antique door backdrop. She is a great friend, and an immensely talented floral designer, and she made Teddy’s boutonniere! Thank you to Johanna Galipeau of Sweet Pea Boutique for outfitting me for the show, I love her shop on Queen Street. Our amazing Nicole & Teddy sign, and all of our booth prints were made possible by GTA Imaging in Toronto, who takes such great care of our printing and album needs, thank you Francine & Chris!
It was a slow start in the morning, as Teddy and I played Tetris with our booth components, trying to fit them all into the truck; no piece would be left behind! We got it all in, and off we went with only an hour to spare before the show started. Â We whipped into the venue (Teddy did the heavy lifting, he is a dreamboat) with our stuff, and put together our very first wedding show booth! We had never been attendees of a wedding show before, so we were very nervous, and just wanted it to be perfect.
The event was so wonderfully orchestrated, and everything single vendor and piece was the perfect fit. Â There were so many talents all under one roof, the energy in the room (s) was unreal, and it I don’t think my feet touched the floor all day (that could have been in part due to the delicious cappuccino that Manual Food & Drink Co. make me. Â They are the cutest coffee pop up shop, and would be a perfect addition to your wedding reception when desserts start.
You will see some of our Industry Friends in the photos below, so please be sure to visit their websites and check out what they do. Oh Dina!, Make Merry Events, Chantelle Brown MUA, Meaghan Adamski of Just Iced Custom Cakes (who will be featured this week!). Duly Noted Stationary, Melissa Townsend Art, and Farmbox Films were there too, and are in the line up for feature in our series over the next month. These are only a handful of the amazing vendors that made up the event. Naphtali Carleton Makeup was our booth neighbour, she is so sweet and we are really excited to be working with her this summer on some weddings.  She too will be featured soon on Industry Friends, so stay tuned.
It was a magical time….
I really wish I would have been able to get around and take photos, and talk to every creative in the room, it was just so hard because there were so many amazing people and items there; I did my very best.
That said, here are some of our photos from this beautiful event, we were so thankful and fortunate to have been part of it, and we look forward to being there again next year.
Such lovely photos guys! You did such a great job at capturing the event and the lovely light in that space. Thanks for the pretty pictures!
