UTTERLY ENGAGED – MORNING GLOW

Morning Glow is just as sweet as the evening golden hour, and I was so moved by this session. I have been dying to share the full collection, but wanted to wait until the feature was live on Utterly Engaged, which is official now, and I am so thrilled about.

It was a beautiful and intimate styled shoot of a couple, and took place in this adorable Penthouse room of the Blackthorne Inn, in Point Reyes, California. The windows went 360 degrees around the room, it was magical.

I love the idea of taking engagement sessions in a more real way, having a couple be themselves and in their own homes, this is how I will encourage my future couples to do their engagement shoots.

I used both film (medium format Mamiya, with 80mm lens, on FujiFilm 400h) (Ratio of film to digital – Film 20% / Digital 80%. Can you tell which is which?), and took the images while attending the Tyler Rye workshop earlier this year.

If you could see this place, your heart would explode! The connection between these two was so intense, it is almost like you can hear them breathing when you are looking at the images.
