Introducing the new MacIsaacs… We first met Jessica & Kyle last year when we photographed their engagement session on a very chilly Autumn day. It rained, and it was really cold, but they braved the elements with us, and from that point on we loved them.
There beautiful wedding took place at the Canadian Museum of Immigration (A.K.A, Pier 21) on the gorgeous Labour Day weekend. It was a very relaxed afternoon of chatting and laughter, and when Jessica said, “could we go to Garrison Brewery after we get married, just to chill and relax for a bit before photos?”, without hesitation I replied, YES PLEASE!
My favourite part of the day, was her big surprise of having learned to play the fiddle leading up to the wedding day, then playing for the ENTIRE group of guests during the bride and groom speech. As you can see from the photos below, Kyle was completely blown away, shocked, proud, touched, the list of emotions that ensued are endless. If you are from Nova Scotia, you will fully understand the importance of the fiddle, and it was the perfect surprise.
Jessica’s sister Darcey, put together all of the flowers and boutonnières for her and they were so sweet, and Jessica’s brother’s wife TJ of Susie’s Shortbreads made the delicious cake and cupcakes. True North DJs took very good care of the party. For more details of the wedding scroll to the bottom for the links to the vendors.Caterers | RCR Catering
