Jessica & Kyle made a quick trip to Halifax from Edmonton for a wedding a couple of weeks ago, so we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to get their engagement session in.  Kyle had originally planned on wearing his military uniform for part of the session, but with the recent tragedy having occurred in Ottawa, he was following instructions of not wearing it outside of work.

This was our first meeting with Jessica & Kyle outside of email, but we all had some good laughs, and worked with what the weather gods had given us; an extreme downpour.  With a reschedule not being an option, Teddy and I quickly thought of a few places we could go to continue with the session outside, while being sheltered from the rain.  Enter Bloom Garden Centre; I cannot express how much we adore those people.

The big day will take place downtown on the Harbourfront Terrace, at the Courtyard Marriott, dinner at Cut Steakhouse, and the evening’s dance off, at Pier 21.  The best part, Teddy and I get to spend our wedding anniversary with these two, along with their friends and family, fun!
