Nicole McInnis of Oh Dina!, that’s who! If you follow along with Oh Dina! on INSTAGRAM (@ohdina), you may remember this photo, or this photo she posted of me behind the scenes, back in October. Nicole had been contacted by FLARE Magazine, wanting to feature her Flower Crowns and DIY Kits. She graciously chose me to take the photos for the feature; I was elated. We would also like to send a special thank you to Kayla Short of Short Presents for making this amazing connection with FLARE.

I have been dying to see the feature and share it with everyone ever since, and finally yesterday (after visiting 13 different bookstores, drugstores and grocery stores) I managed to get my hands on a copy of February’s Issue hot off the press!

There it was, on page 27, a full colour page, in a national fashion magazine; my very first photo in a printed publication (sigh). Oh Dina!’s feature is the first page of the “Cool Girl Weddings” section of the issue, and for good reason.  Flower crowns are so lovely, they dress up any outfit, they look fantastic, and make you feel pretty. Every bride should own at least one, and if not to wear on her wedding day, then definitely at her bridal shower, bachelorette party, or even her rehearsal dinner.
