We had been planning a family shoot for quite some time, and we ended up picking the coldest day so far this fall. Yes, we all froze, but the Girards are all such beautiful, warm people that every minute was worth it, and we were so thrilled that we got to see them.
We, the Lapierres (Bennetts even, in my unmarried years) and Girards, go way back. Karen and I used to spend our weekends, serving the university crowd, at the one-time hopping, downtown bar, Merrill’s. If it wasn’t for Karen, I would not have met the love of my life, Teddy; the rest is history.
Although we don’t see each other as often as we would like to, I take comfort knowing that they are the type of friends you can fall right back into place with, when you do get together. Karen & Rob also stood in our wedding, and I have to give Karen so much credit, and love for her contribution to our big day, because she was so, very pregnant with their second baby Shannon.
We love you so much.
