Anyone who knows me, knows that when I like something, or someone, I will hold it/them close to my heart, and shout my admiration from the rooftops! My view of the world, is that sharing is imperative to the success of every business, even those that are in the same field of work. I am a really big believer in sharing stories, the crafts, the tips and the tricks, because I feel the more we all share, the more we all grow together.

Collaborating, inspiring and empowering are the three main goals for me as a business owner. They drive me, and help me meet new people, make new friends and connections, and in turn generate business for all involved. Those three goals are the main reason why Teddy and I started our Industry Friends feature as well, featuring amazing people who we have met in our time as wedding photographers, who we trust and admire. It is turning out to be more than we ever thought it could ever be, since our first feature last Fall!

On to the reason for this blog post…

I first fell in love with Hanuel jewelry, when introduced to it this past March, when shooting for the Go Live HQ web workshop. Hanuel graciously donated a piece to each one of the workshop attendees for their swag bag, and I was asked to shoot it as part of the social media thank you’s to the sponsors. It is very well made, and there are so many different styles, from dainty and delicate, to edgy and chunky. The pieces are so versatile, and can accent anything you are wearing. Side note, there are even beautiful pieces that could be incorporated into your wedding, either as gifts for your bridesmaids, or a special piece for you to wear at your rehearsal dinner or wedding!

I loved it so much, that I reach out to the company directly upon my return to Canada. I told them how much I would love to shoot with a collection sometime, and that if they sent me pieces, I would shoot them and return them when I was through. Well, they were so excited to be a part of my vision, and sent me so many lovely pieces, but told me that they were mine to keep, WOW! This is Maggie, she is a beautiful, sweet and talented young lady, and I have known her since birth.  She is growing up to be such a strong and inspiring woman, and I am so excited to see what she will become. THOSE DIMPLES!
