WASETEG

Handsome baby Waseteg, made his way into this wild world last month, and it has been a wonderful month of watching my sweet friend and native sister, Savvy take on motherhood like a champion. Daddy Alex is so amazing with his new son, and it makes my heart melt to see the three of them all together.

Baby Waseteg is one half Mi’kmaq, one half Maliseet, and 100% perfect, with his wispy dark hair and deep, soulful eyes. I know he will make a lasting and powerful impact on this earth in his lifetime.

Waseteg, meaning, the light that shines right before the dawn at sunrise (Mi’kmaq)
